Outdoor skating for all the family in the shadow of the City Chambers with Ice Discos and Santa's Grotto. Afterwards enjoy a hot chocolate from the vendors in the Square. Then some Christmas shopping in many of the fine shops that Glasgow has to offer or Lunch or Dinner in one of the many restaurants.

The Glasgow Christmas Lights are famous throughout Scotland. The annual switch on occurs on 16.11.08 at 6.30pm.  However, you can see these stunning lights all over the city during the festive season.


SANTA'S GROTTO

Sat - Sun  :         11am - 8pm

Location   :        George Square

Open to all you young at heart visiting Santa's Grotto. Just £7, you will get a photograph of your vist with Santa and, of course, a present. Well worth the visit
